The luxurious Pelagian liveaboard has long been widely regarded as one of the premier dive yachts in the Southeast Asia and South Pacific regions, enjoying an unparalleled reputation for quality operations and unique itineraries. The Pelagian credits include numerous documentaries, features and stories in National Geographic, diving and travel magazines, and television productions around the world.
With just 10 guests served by an experienced international crew of 12, including a master chef, Pelagian offers a setting that is upscale and intimate. The crew is able to provide each guest with appropriate attention, no matter if they are a first-time cruiser and snorkeler, or a seasoned dive traveler who appreciates value and excellence.
The Pelagian is fully integrated into Wakatobi’s award-winning marine conservation and community development programs and has exclusive access to the diving sites within the extended Wakatobi region. It expands on the resort’s tradition of ultimate service and premier diving. Venturing into remote and seldom-visited corners of the Tukang Besi archipelago, guests enjoy cruises of discovery and adventure to distant reefs, verdant island lagoons and fecund muck diving sites.
The yacht has five cabins all with en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning. The spacious and comfortable master stateroom, located on the main deck, is the largest in the industry with a full queen size bed. The deluxe stateroom, at the stern, has one double and one single bunk, as well as a lounge seat, with ample room.
The two superlux staterooms have one double bed and a day-bed (which can be converted to a wide 120 cm second bunk) and are very bright. The one standard stateroom is located towards the crew quarters and has two single beds, side by side.
A fully equipped camera room has individual drawers for storage and 220/110 volt electrical outlets.
Use the computer room to view your latest shots and enjoy a very comfortable inside lounge with large flat panel TV and DVD player, an extensive DVD and CD selection and library, as well as a spacious outside lounge to admire the views and sunsets. Showers and towels are on deck and meals are served on a shaded area on the upper deck. Internet access is available.
Diving is easily launched from two custom-made 6-metre rigid hull inflatable dive tenders equipped with double 60HP outboard engines, tanks racks and secure stainless steel ladders. The friendly, camera-aware crew is always ready to lend a hand. Nitrox is available.
