The Kungkungan Bay Resort itinerary includes the following: Accommodations in a Beachfront Cottage Suite (Upgrades are available), 3 meals in our menu service restaurant, 3 day boat dives per diving day, free beach diving between 8am - 5pm, free WiFi, transfers in and out of the resort between 8am - 5pm, tax and service charge.
Kungkungan Bay Resort (or just KBR to its many fans) is located in the very heart of the Lembeh Strait. The intimate and exclusive resort is staffed by friendly, professional personnel. It is a quiet haven for macro divers and more than 30 dive sites are located within 15 minutes of the private jetty, including four wrecks teeming with marine life. Their top-quality service focuses on personal attention, safety, comfort and environmental responsibility.
The resort offers 17 spacious luxury wooden bungalows overlooking the bay with three categories of spacious accommodation to choose from: deluxe cottage, deluxe room and deluxe traditional house, and there is also a hillside villa.
The unique over-the-water restaurant has spectacular views of the exclusive house reef, the Lembeh Strait and nearby tropical islands. It serves delightful Indonesian and Western delicacies and provides round-the-clock service.
The cottages have separate bedrooms, with either one or two queen-size beds or just one king-size bed. The traditional houses are small suites with a variety of configurations to fit a couple, four persons or a family. The resort was designed to have a minimum impact on the environment, and uses local materials and traditional architecture to showcase the local Minahasan culture. Western-style bathrooms and amenities mean international standards of comfort are also met.
Facilities at KBR include a private jetty with camera rinse tanks and hot showers, camera charging room, air-conditioned bar, swimming pool with swim-up bar, lounge, internet access and a library. WiFi hot spots are available throughout the resort.
