Mabul Water Bungalows are located on the tropical island of Mabul off the southeastern coast of Sabah in Malaysian Borneo. The comfortable bungalows are the perfect base whilst exploring the world famous dive sites of Sipadan located just 15 minutes away. Diving in the Sipadan area is world class and this Malaysian dive resort provides accommodation to suit. Each air-conditioned en suite bungalow is equipped with satellite TV, mini bar, security safe for valuables, and a private balcony where you can enjoy panoramic vistas of the clear blue sea and the palm fringed island of Mabul.

Sipadan is surrounded by 800 m deep water and is the place to come and see turtles and schooling barracudas. In and around Mabul, you are in for some amazing muck dives. The dive centre boats will collect you every day for two dives at Sipadan, with a third dive back in Mabul or Kapalai Island. Nitrox is available for those qualified to use it, and if you need yet more diving, then there are unlimited complimentary shore dives at some of the favorite Mabul dive sites, such as Froggy Lair.

After an exciting day of diving, pamper yourself with a relaxing massage or signature spa treatment at the newly opened and very luxurious Ka'andaman spa. Ka'andaman reawakens the mind and rekindles the soul, with its revitalizing aroma therapies and the signature spa treatments.

Guests of Mabul Water Bungalows also have access to the resort facilities at Sipadan Mabul Resort which is just a short 5 minute walk across the island. For a bit of exercise you can explore the island's shores by sea kayak or play a game of beach volleyball. There is also great snorkeling from right beneath your room. Or enjoy the pool and Jacuzzi and have a cocktail on the white sand beach.

Throughout the day guests can help themselves to fruit, toast, cereal, hot and cold drinks and in the evening you have the choice of dining at either the Sipadan Mabul Resort or the exclusive Water Bungalows restaurant where the cuisine includes the finest Malaysian dishes and Western and Italian favorites. Seafood and vegetarian options are plentiful among the mouth-watering buffet options which normally include three courses at dinner and once a week a large barbeque grill is served.
