Villa Markisa is a luxury, exclusive dive resort catering for up to 16 guests, run by Christiane and Pedro. Located on Bali's northeast coast in Muntig Bay with Agung volcano in the background, this resort is close to all the best dive sites around this area, including the famous Liberty shipwreck.

The wellknown 'Seraya Secrets', discovered by Christiane Waldrich in 2002, is right in front of the resort; on offer is a complementary dive guide with an extraordinary knowledge of the local marine life.

Three unique bungalows are set within the grounds of a beautiful modern villa, all with stunning ocean views. Also within the grounds is Villa Sonea, with two large bedrooms and a large luxury lounge. Each bungalow is equipped with a private outdoor bathroom, mini-bar, safety deposit box, air-conditioning, mosquito net, coffee maker, spacious cabinets, lots of electrical sockets and a sofa which can be turned into an extra bed.
Ocean views can be savored from the king-size bed. At the head of each bed is a workstation, which allows photographers and professionals to work with an ocean view as the backdrop. Each terrace has a large daybed for lounging and a table with two chairs.

The Spa is equiped with shower and bath and massages are given by a fully trained balinese masseuse.

Special rinse tanks are provided for diving cameras and dive equipment, while there is also a spacious, well-equipped work top for drying and charging cameras and underwater lights.

Guests stay on a full-board basis, with the oceanfront restaurant serving a wide range of Indonesian and international dishes. Special diets can be catered for. Other facilities include a pool with Jacuzzi, a massage service and holistic treatments.

The dive centre comfortably accommodates 16 divers and is equipped with rinse tanks, camera rinse tanks, drying area, shower and restroom. Diving is done either from shore or from a very comfortable speed boat equiped with a sun cover and a ladder. Nitrox is available on request.
