Qamea is an intimate boutique resort catering to a maximum of 34 guests. Their 17 beachfront bures (Fijian bungalows) and villas are crafted of native hardwood and bamboo in local style, and tastefully decorated with native tapa cloth and comfortable furniture. Each bure has a vaulted ceiling, king-size bed, separate sitting area, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fan and a large veranda with lounge chairs and a hammock. Qamea is the only resort on the island, and is set amidst 100 acres of lush gardens, natural bush land, private white sand beach and jagged volcanic South Pacific mountains that soar behind the property.

Qamea and her neighboring islands offer a tropical paradise of adventure and beauty. Guests can avail themselves of a wide range of complimentary activities including incredible snorkeling, hobie cat sailing, windsurfing, sea canoeing, hiking, croquet, visiting one of the local villages and lots more.

This northern region of Fiji is famous for the abundance of fantastic soft coral and spectacular wall diving. The diving is therefore world renowned, and with a fully equipped PADI & SSI dive facility, the diving staff, who are highly experienced and are Qamea natives, can introduce you to an underwater adventure you will long remember. They will introduce you to dive sites such as the Purple Wall, Coral Garden and Qamea Freeway. Qamea caters to all diving skills/levels, and there are 22 dive sites within 10 minutes of the resort. You could also go on one of the charter dives to the White Wall and Rainbow Reef in the Somosomo Straights or dive at the fabulous Yellow Wall.

Being close to the cooling breezes of the southeast trades, Qamea offers excellent wind sports like sailing and windsurfing. There is no additional charge for use of snorkeling equipment, sail boards, sail boats and outrigger paddle boats. The water is warm and inviting, and snorkeling on the house reef is a pleasure.
