The secluded Fiji Island Paradise of Beqa (pronounced Benga) lies surrounded by one of the world’s largest and most spectacular barrier reefs. Beqa is rich and untouched and is a mere 6 square miles, with no roads and just a few isolated villages scattered around the perimeter.

You wouldn’t choose an island like Beqa if you didn’t really want to get away from it all. That is why this resort features only 25 deluxe, private air-conditioned bures: 12 Beachfront bures grace the shoreline and enjoy incredible views from their own spacious courtyard, large sundeck with private plunge pool, hammock and bamboo fence to ensure your privacy; 6 bures surround the beautiful Koi Pond and are connected by bridges and 3 even more private bures are tucked away in the garden.
For families or singles traveling together there are 4 comfortable and spacious two-bedroom bures (about 1,000 sq ft). The upstairs units have large balconies with ocean view and downstairs units have a private porch.

Many of the most spectacular dive sights are only a few minutes from shore, and if you stayed long enough, you could explore over 100 different sights! The dive masters at Beqa Lagoon have been diving in these waters since they were children and know every reef and coral head and will point out the creatures that abound in these waters - blue ribbon eels, clown triggers, lionfish, leaf scorpions, reef sharks and millions of colorful anthias and fusiliers.

Diving these calm protected waters is like exploring another world. The water is clear and warm, visibility is typically over 100 feet, currents are generally mild, and the water temperature stays a fairly constant 80 degrees.

Of course there is more than diving to be done at Beqa. You may choose to surf the world famous “Fijian Pipeline”; If you wish to go tubing or water skiing a motor powered sport rental can be arranged. Also Beqa is a bird watching haven with the largest varieties of birds in Fiji, so binoculars wouldn’t go amiss.

End your perfect day relaxing in a nearby hammock or sipping your favorite coconut cocktail while lounging next to the luxurious infinity pool followed by a soothing aromatherapy massage in your bure.
