The MV Black Manta joins the selection of liveaboards offering diving safaris in Indonesia for scuba diving in Komodo National Park, Alor, The Banda Sea and Raja Ampat. The state of the art Black Manta enjoys 9 luxurious en-suite cabins, an extensive dive deck complete with specific camera table and rinse tanks and the expansive sun-deck spans the length of the boat and incorporates loungers for those sun-worshippers. Also at your disposal is a huge lounge with a comprehensive multi media centre for your entertainment. The little extras like daily maid service, warm towels after dives, internet access, and massage service put the MV Black Manta in a class of her own.
The MV Black Manta accommodates a maximum of 20 guests in two private standard cabins, two private deluxe twin/double bed cabins, two private deluxe bunk twin cabins, two private deluxe double bed cabins, and one Master Suite which sleeps four with a double bed and two extra twin beds. The two standard cabins are for the budget minded diver who would like a bit of luxury and doesn't mind shared bathroom facilities.
The dive deck has been designed with comfort and convenience in mind. There is plenty of area for suiting up and loads of storage for your personal equipment. Each diver will be assigned his or her own station and your gear will remain set up during the entire cruise. Tanks are filled at this station, so you never have to worry about moving your equipment except to get in the water, and the caring crew will help you with that. Personal gear is stored at your station in intelligently designed boxes, and wet suits are hung up to dry on a custom rack. Cameras are stored apart from your personal gear on special camera shelves, and out of the air-conditioned areas to avoid lens fogging. There are two showers outside for a quick rinse after the dives. There is Nitrox station onboard for certified Nitrox divers. For those of you not yet Nitrox certified, courses are available during the trip.
Guests will enjoy 5 meals a day from a blend of Western-Indo-Thai-Malay culinary delights all served in her relaxed outdoor dining area, while enjoying the panoramic views of the tropical islands in glistening turquoise sea.
